Delivery of Live Feed

We supply live feed for birds and fishing, including products such as wax worms and mealworms. As these are live products, we take care to pack and dispatch orders as quickly and safely as possible.
However, please be aware that live feed is sensitive to temperature, delays and handling once it has left us. While we do our best to send products in good condition, we cannot control courier delays, depot conditions, delivery vehicle temperatures or how parcels are handled during transit.

Hot Weather Notice

During periods of hot weather, live bait and live feed may be at increased risk of perishing during delivery. This is especially true during very warm temperatures, heatwaves or when parcels are held in courier vans or depots for longer than expected.
We always aim to pack and dispatch orders with care, but high temperatures during transit are outside of our control. By placing an order for live feed during hot weather, customers acknowledge and accept that there is a risk the product may arrive in poor condition or may not survive the journey.
Where possible, we recommend ordering live feed when someone will be available to receive the delivery, and avoiding orders during extreme heat if the product is urgently required.

Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible during our normal working hours. Orders are usually processed in the order they are received.
Please note that dispatch and delivery times may vary depending on order volumes, courier availability, bank holidays, weekends and seasonal demand.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Once an order has been collected by the courier, delivery times are managed by the courier and are outside of our direct control.
We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by couriers, adverse weather, incorrect delivery details, missed deliveries, access issues or circumstances beyond our control.

Customer Responsibility

Please ensure that the delivery details provided at checkout are correct and complete. UK Wax Worms cannot be held responsible for failed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect addresses, missing information or customers being unavailable to receive their order.
As live feed is perishable, we strongly recommend that customers make arrangements to receive their order as soon as it arrives.

Perishable Goods

Due to the live and perishable nature of our products, live feed and bait cannot be treated in the same way as standard non-perishable goods. The condition of live products can be affected by temperature, time in transit and courier handling.
We will always do our best to help where possible, but we cannot guarantee the condition of live feed where issues arise due to hot weather, courier delays, missed deliveries or other factors outside of our control.
